FDM machines from Stratasys have been limited to Stratasys materials for some time, but the Open Material License changes all that. Open AM is now available on the Fortus450, allowing users to use not just Stratasys Preferred materials, but 3rd Party Validated materials, and even true open source materials. The Open AM software enables users to fine tune essentially any material they can find, opening the doors for material options like never before. This video will give and introductory look at the Open AM software, and how it can push the Fortus450, and soon other FDM machines, to the limit.
