Introduction
The CSWE Simulation exam is the final in a set of SOLIDWORKS Simulation exams which is designed to test the breadth of knowledge of the Simulation Premium set of tools. Please note that you must have already earned the CSWA-Simulation and the CSWP-Simulation certifications before you are able to attempt this exam.
What is the CSWE-Simulation Exam?
The Certified SOLIDWORKS Simulation Expert exam features 40 questions. 10 hands-on questions designed to test your ability at navigating the software efficiently and accurately and 30 multiple choice questions which will test your knowledge of features of the software along with your ability to efficiently identify relevant reference material. The length of the exam is 3 hours.

**There are several iterations of CSWE-SIM Exam test questions and models, therefore some or all the above skills may be needed.**
Preparation
How do I prepare for the CSWE Simulation exam?
In order to take the CSWE - Simulation exam, you'll need to meet the following prerequisites. First of all, you'll need to be a CSWP. This is a certification which requires you to be proficient in the SOLIDWORKS modeling environment. In order to be an expert at SOLIDWORKS Simulation, you'll also need to be skilled with the SOLIDWORKS modeling engine. You'll need to have two simulation certifications to qualify starting with the Certified SOLIDWORKS Associate for simulation and also the Certified SOLIDWORKS Professional for simulation.

HOW TO GET A SUBSCRIPTION VOUCHER
- Exam vouchers can be requested twice a year – one in the first half and another in the second half of each calendar year.
- Once a voucher code is generated, it can be redeemed by anyone. This allows users to share or giveaway their unused vouchers.
- Exam vouchers expire 180 days after they are issued.
- Once a voucher is entered into the VirtualTester, the exam must be taken immediately.
