3DEXPERIENCE World 2025 - GoEngineer Guide

Article by Nick Sweeney on Jan 21, 2025

3DEXPERIENCE World 2025 is heading to Houston, TX, from February 23-26, and we are excited to be a part of it! As always, GoEngineer will host a Customer Appreciation Night and offer a variety of technical sessions led by our outstanding technical team. There will be many opportunities to learn, network, and have a great time. This guide will provide a brief preview of this year's event and give you a glimpse of what to expect.

Connect with GoEngineer

For the last two years, I’ve covered 3DEXPERIENCE World for GoEngineer. I’ve stopped by the various partner booths and talked with them about their latest developments. (Check out recaps of last year's conference on YouTube and LinkedIn.)

But, my favorite part about covering 3DEXPERIENCE World is talking with customers about their experiences. Do you have a story to share? Reach out to me. I'd love to interview you and let GoEngineer help tell your story!

GoEngineer Customer Appreciation Night

The biggest GoEngineer event of the year is our Customer Appreciation Night. Join us Monday, February 24th, at The Rustic in downtown Houston for food, drinks, and a whole lot of fun!

Can’t Miss Booths

The 3DEXPERIENCE Playground is an amazing place to spend time between sessions because it’s where you can meet partners from all over the world and experience world-class technology.

3DEXPERIENCE World Customer Playground

The Artec 3D booth is one of my favorites. Here, you can check out top-of-the-line 3D scanners and test them on objects small enough to fit in your hand or spaces as large as the entire conference hall!

DriveWorks also has a booth this year, giving visitors a chance to talk about their automation processes and meet members of the vibrant DriveWorks Community from all over the world.

Last year at 3DEXPERIENCE World, Cadence announced the release of two new offerings to help PCB designers get their concepts into reality faster. If you do anything related to PCB, it’s worth stopping by to chat with the Cadence team.

Among others, our wonderful partners at Dell, HCL CAMWorks, 3DCONNEXION, and Elysium also have booths in the 3DEXPERIENCE Playground, so be sure to take a lap (or two or three) around the space and see what you can learn.

GoEngineer Master Classes

The most anticipated part of 3DEXPERIENCE World is the daily breakout sessions. GoEngineer will have an army of application engineers heading to Houston eager to share their expertise and help you learn a thing or two. Check out our full list of presentations below and be sure to register early because spots fill up fast!

BUILD YOUR AGENDA

Why Attend?

As with any conference, there are numerous reasons to attend. For starters, you won’t find a larger group of SOLIDWORKS and 3DEXPERIENCE experts anywhere in the world. Meaning, you can easily meet someone who has run into the same challenges you’ve run into. Maybe there’s even a session specifically dedicated to a challenge you’re currently working through. And as far as learning opportunities go, it’s hard to do much better than attending 3DEXPERIENCE World.

Why Attend 3DEXPERIENCE World 2025

But for me, this conference is about so much more than just an opportunity to learn, it's like home. I've been attending 3DEXPERIENCE World since 1999 (when it was known back then as SOLIDWORKS World) and the community that attends every year is like family. Each year, I run into old friends from around the world and we get to spend time catching up and talking about our latest projects. I also get the chance to put faces to names and make new friends with people from every walk of life.

This year, I’m looking forward to the fantastic technical sessions put on by the GoEngineer team, the electric customer party on Monday night, hearing the latest updates from around the SOLIDWORKS community told by SOLIDWORKS CEO Manish Kumar and Senior Vice President of 3DEXPERIENCE Works and Customer Role Experience Gian Paolo Bassi, and a few days in Texas with a few thousand of my closest friends. I look forward to seeing you there!
