New PA12 SAF Material for Stratasys H350

Article by GoEngineer on Dec 15, 2022

Stratasys has announced the latest in their H Series suite of materials - PA12. This new polymer is ready to meet the demands of high-volume applications with complex geometries. Stratasys’ H Series, which includes the   H350 , uses SAF Technology (Selective Absorption Fusion) that powers a powder-based additive manufacturing process for end-use part production.

SAF PA12 (Polyamide 12) is strong, capable of producing large industrial components where accuracy, reliability, fit, and function are a must. With the H350’s quick turnaround time, end use part iterations and developments can be tested, changed, and out the door faster than other additive solutions.

Additional advantages of PA12 include:

  • Higher nesting density - Faster throughput and lower per-part cost
  • Stiffer parts - Can be used to produce a broad range of end-use applications
  • Minimal waste - Leftover PA12 material can be reused in future builds and can withstand the printing process with minimal ageing.
