SOLIDWORKS PDM is a great tool for managing your files. Over time, you will want to upgrade you PDM to a later version. In this is tutorial we demonstrate how to update SOLIDWORKS PDM on the server and the client. We cover this topic from investigating the server operating system version and SQL version, backing up the existing vault pieces, downloading the software, doing the actual server upgrade, and finally doing the client upgrade. We go over the steps to upgrade and then demonstrate how to do the upgrade.
