SOLIDWORKS offers some great updates in assemblies with the 2022 release. From performance boosts in large assemblies, to UI and feature enhancements. In SOLIDWORKS 2022, Large Design Review has been improved to open large assemblies in record time. Right-clicking on the assembly from the design tree now provides an option to open the drawing for the model in detailed mode. Detailed mode has also been improved to open faster than before and is a recommended method of working with very complex drawings. In addition, the right-mouse button menu has been enhanced to include options for opening sub-assemblies in Large Design Review, Lightweight and Resolved. Providing easier workflows to open your files, how you want.
